A FB friend recently blogged this cool video on how a San Marco Tower crane is assembled and it has an overview of how a “climbing system” works. I quite often stare at cranes in the city and wonder how they are assembled. Its almost “chicken n egg” type stuff! This ones incredible engineering and technology!
